How to measure your height
Stand barefoot with your back against a wall. Keep your posture natural, shoulders relaxed, and look straight ahead.
Your heels, back, and shoulders should touch the wall. No cheating by stretching taller.
Place a book flat on top of your head so it touches the wall and stays perfectly horizontal.
Then measure the distance from the floor to the bottom edge of the book.
That number is your height.
How to measure your chest
Take a measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest.
The tape should run under your arms and stay level across your back.
Do not pull it too tight, but don’t let it hang loose either. It should sit comfortably against your body.
Breathe normally. No need to inflate your chest like you’re posing at the gym.
That measurement is your chest circumference.
How to measure your inseam
For this one you’ll need a book and a little balance.
Stand barefoot with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
Place the book between your legs and lift it up until the top edge presses gently into the crotch area. This is where your pants normally start.
Now measure the distance from the top edge of the book down to the floor.
That number is your inseam.
Yes, it may look a little awkward. But it works perfectly.
